A history of the RP Universe.

Seeing as this is the 5th rpu that's been created, I figured I'd give you guys a little history on how this whole thing got started.

The original Rp Universe was made by yours truly on Xanga almost 8 years ago now.. Dang I'm old..  ;) Anyways, my vision for the original RPU was to have a rp site where people made their own plots and could Rp as who they wanted to be, instead of having to follow cannons or a set plotline (kinda like what it is now..) For those of you who don't know or are too young to remember Xanga, it was a giant blog where you could post about whatever you wanted. Perfect for posts.. I really miss my Xanga..   :(

The original members of RPU 1 were Myself, Kyle, Adnix, Jehuo, Arashi, Mieko, Sarine, Sora, Axel, Sparrow

The second RPU was a continuation of the first one. Kyle and myself created it on proboards. This one actually had a plot. It was about an evil entity named Necrosis, who had been beaten by Ryou and a group of heroes called the protectors. The protectors sealed away Necrosis and then 2000 years later he returned. You could play as the descendants of those heroes or villains.

The original members of RPU 2 were myself, Kyle, Koulgen, Kiba (know known as Kael) and Josie.

Unfortunately that site was deleted..

The third, fourth and now the fifth RPU is basically a copy of the original RPU. We made it as a place where someone could make a rp and not have to worry about managing a site. We started on an SMF forum but the hosting was bad so we moved to proboards then we had some trouble with a jackass hacking our admin account so we decided to look for a better place where the admins didnt have to share a main admin account. We really liked SMF but we needed good hosting. We found SMF New and then here we are..

RPU 3's site was taken down by X10 hosting for inactivity...

Oh, talk about a trip down memory lane. I can't believe I used to talk like that... full of grammatical errors... It was the good 'ol days... XD

But wait, they might have a chance,
To make their evil plan advance.
They're gonna have to get them some sexy Leather Pants.
Now sing it!
