character bio. (tell me their history and how they fit into the plot) Derek is a quiet person and a brilliant wizard. He is the youngest headmaster of Hogwarts in 500 years. He helped fight the Death Eaters in the battle of Hogwarts 15 years ago and used to teach Defense Against the Dark arts at Hogwarts.

As child his parents were tortured by Death Eaters so he has a deep hatred for them and Dark magic of any kind. It was he who sent the order to postpone the start of term so that way the students would be safe from anyone attacking the train. He wanted to make sure the platform was rebuilt and that there were guards everywhere for the students safety.
