The guard nodded and turned from Jake.  He shifted into a wolf in mid-step and took off running toward the center of camp, calling Taryn's name in his mind frantically.

Taryn heard her name being called and met the guard in the middle of camp. "What's wrong?"  She asked as soon as she had shifted back.  "The new comer... He has... Something to... Tell you."  The guard gasped, trying to catch his breath.  "Alright, go take a break and catch your breath.  I can handle this."  Taryn ran to where Jake's tent is at and skidded to a stop in front of him.  "Yes?"  She said, with a questioning look in her eyes.
